Marshmallow Pilgrim Hats

Whether you are hosting Thanksgiving at your house or going to a friend or relative’s, this Thanksgiving treat idea from Family Fun definitely should be on your list to make this year.
How CUTE are these Pilgrim hats? They are really fun and easy to make. I made these after a fellow etsian suggested them to me, I needed a fun and kid driendly nut free Thanksgiving dessert! This will be on our Thanksgiving table from now on!

24 chocolate-striped shortbread cookies
12-ounce package of chocolate chips
24 marshmallows
tube of yellow decorators’ frosting
Set the chocolate-striped cookies stripes down on a wax-paper-covered tray, spacing them well apart.
Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
One at a time, stick a wooden toothpick into a marshmallow, dip the marshmallow into the melted chocolate, and promptly center it atop a cookie.
Using a second toothpick to lightly hold down the marshmallow, carefully pull out the first toothpick.
Chill the hats until the chocolate sets, then pipe a yellow decorators’ frosting buckle on the front of each hat.

Ok so who doesn't like fudge! Seriously I think chocolate should be added as a food group!
So I purchased some snickers fudge from Hill Side Bakery for my husband because I'm really not a huge snickers fan, but I thought I would give it a test before I let him try it, let's just say he never even got a bite! My kids and I had it gone before he even got home from work! Had to hide the evidence, glad I didn't tell him I got it for him! I ordered the snickers on purpose because I didn't think I would eat it and well looks like I will be spending some extra time on the treadmill this week!
This Fudge was LOADED with snickers and was very creamy sweet but not too sweet! So it get the stamp of approval at this house! Try some out, order for the holidays!
